Week 10 - Happy Summer Holidays! 22/06/20
Just one more week before we're officially on our Summer Holidays! Don't forget that you can collect your child's End of Year report from school this week from Tuesday 23rd - Thursday 25th June! No doubt you're looking forward to winding down from Home Learning, relaxing and enjoying time with your family. Why not use the final week of the Learning Zone as an opportunity to tick off a few more of our '30 Day' activities (links below), to catch up on any activities that you may have missed and to repeat activities that your child may have found difficult over this period?
Over the holidays...
The Learning Zone will remain on the school website for you to dip in and out of throughout the summer, as you wish. Repetition of Early Literacy and Numeracy activities will cement concepts that were new to your child this term, increase their confidence and give them a great head start for Year 1! Don't forget there are lots of links to FREE resources and websites at the bottom of the Nursery landing page too! (Quick link below.)
Your children have worked so hard this term, under difficult and confusing circumstances that none of us could have predicted. So most of all, we really hope that your child enjoys a well-deserved break over the holidays to play freely, enjoy the sunshine (when it appears), explore the outdoors, build lots of sand castles, eat lots of ice creams and 'read' lots of new stories!

Memories and Wishes
We loved reading about your favourite memories from Nursery and seeing your beautiful pictures this week. Some highlights for us this year include watching your very first Nativity, where you sang your hearts out, a visit from Casey's Creatures, when you got to hold and learn about some really interesting animals, and World Book Day, when you dressed up as your favourite book characters! By the looks of your butterfly wings, there's so much more to look forward to in the year ahead as you 'spread your wings' from Nursery to Year 1! Here's a selection of your pictures. Well done everyone!
We can't wait to welcome you back to school, refreshed and ready for your next stage of learning. We hope you have a fantastic summer!
