22nd June 2020 – Week 10
This is your last week of term. Take this week to look through the Learning Zone again and try out any activities that you think you'll enjoy or haven't had the chance to do yet. The activities you’ll find below are made available for use over summer, including Studyladder and Mathletics. It’s important to relax over the summer but you do want to stay sharp so keep reading, keep practicing your maths and keep active!
Thank you firstly to everyone who has sent in a presentation or a project so far, they have been fantastic! I know there are still a few people working on them, just take your time and read over everything you’ve done before sending it on to me. Thank you to everyone for sending in pictures and updates too – I've particularly enjoyed seeing the science experiments recently! Please keep doing so as I am compiling a new video at the moment - watch this space or keep an eye on the school Facebook page.
To all of my 32 pupils, you are a wonderful class – my favourite in the school! You are all incredible young people who have grown a lot in many different ways and I hope you know how well you’ve all done. Although it’s been interrupted, we have had a terrific two years together and have got to enjoy things like our RADAR trip, Narnia, Coastal Zone, W5, PE and swimming lessons, Viking worlds in Minecraft, buddy time in Nursery, pancake (and butter) making, Tai-Chi/Mandarin, outstanding art with Mrs Watton, outdoor classroom and your favourite – Friday tests! I enjoyed every day and wish you all a brilliant summer; I’m looking forward to seeing every one of you in a couple of months!
To parents, an enormous thank you for your support over the last two years and particularly for keeping in touch over the last few months. I will be contactable on Seesaw for the remainder of the week, so please get in touch if there’s anything I can help with. You have amazing children who I know will go on to have an amazing year in P7.

You'll find activity booklets and answers in the buttons below. They may say Year 5, but that is what P6 is called in England. Please don't worry about missing page numbers, as I have edited the document.
This is an excellent website for STEM activities that can be done at home. Not just science but maths, computing and design/technology too. Please take a good look through this as there are links to other great sites like Mission X and Explorify.
We had a wonderful time making memories, and you've continued that at home. Here is a template to help you remember some of your highlights from this year. Take creative freedom with this and step away from the template altogether if you like! You may have different personal highlights and you may prefer to record your key moments in a different way, like a poster or re-creating some of your favourite moments to make your own video! Maybe you'd like to remember things from this year at school but also your few months learning at home.
