WEEK 4 - 11th May 2020 Nursery Home Learning Challenges
This week, we are continuing our theme of Castles, with a special spotlight on dragons! What do you know about dragons already? Can you describe what dragons look like? Are they friendly or scary? We think you’ll enjoy this week’s story about a dragon called Zog goes to school, just like you! Can you guess what new skills Zog the dragon learns at school?
Thank you for sending in some superb pictures of last week's castle-themed activities! We particularly loved seeing your play-based learning activities and how lots of you brought those activities outsides! See some pictures below. We can't wait to see your pictures next week!

In Early Literacy, we'll be extending our work on internalising syllables and thinking a little bit further about the characters and scenes in this week's story.

Let's learn about Floating and Sinking!
This week in Outdoor Play, we’ll be playing and experimenting with things that float or sink in water. In this video, Webb Duck and Bill Duck went on a hunt around their house to find things that might float or sink. See if you can guess what will happen to each thing they’ve found once it’s put into a basin of water!
